I’ve been a fan of Miss Amelia Arsenic for a while now, this Australian, currently living in London has the Musician, Make Up, Jewellery & Fashion design titles firmly under her belt. On her blog, she describes herself as “Artist, designer, performer with a killer fashion fetish.” And by golly is her style amazing!
Her current project is ‘A is for Arsenic’ a fashion label that releases a limited capsule collection in very limited edition (Most items have only a 50 item run!). The latest collection titled ‘Crime & Punishment’ is inspired by “vintage fetish magazines, the drama of the silent screen and a dash of murder. The imagery combines film noir inspired bondage portraiture with monochromatic graphic interventions.”
Not only that, but this time around, Amelia has teamed up with Jane Doe Latex for this collection. The collaberation is set to hit online late july offering studded harnesses, motorcycle gloves, biker jackets, sock garters and suspenders!
Not disappointing fans with her attention to detail, the lookbook for this collection is nothing short of stunning! And the packaging, one word, WOW!
While I understand these sort of images don’t appeal to everyone, I have always had a love for pin ups and the macabre, so this combination really strikes me.
The clothing ranges in sizes from S-L or S-XL depending on the garment. The above items are my lust list. I’m so overly broke right now, but i’m hoping to pick up a set of badges and postcards if they are available long enough!
