OOTD: Black & Yellow!

After writing that post name, I’m sure to have the Wiz Khalifa song stuck in my head the rest of the night. If you do too, sorry! Anyway, this was just a super comfy outfit I threw on and thought I’d show it off. I picked up this velvet dress up the other day for $10! Bargain! I think it will be a great layer piece in winter, velvet = warm.

I need to take a moment to tell you a story. In highschool, and the years after, I was a bit of a goth, then a wannabe scene kid. I was always on myspace, and back then, I fell in love with Jessica Louise Clothing. I remembered saving pictures of Audrey Kitching modelling the clothing, and lustfully longing for the sock garters and suspenders. Now, years ago, Jessica Louise has expanded some of her collection to plus sizes! When I found out, I wanted to run around screaming in excitement, or weep from utter joy. Yeah, I’m that kind of person. Not to mention, she has the ever so gorgeous Tess Munster modelling the plus size range!

What store/ designer do you wish would extend their sizes?

Hahaha, I love that song… but not as much as I love your OUTFIT! :D You look magnificent, woman! xoxo

You are super cute/sexy/gorgoues and sweet in this post! I love your outfit form head to toe! I so want those shoes! And the leggings are so awesome!

The dress is so cute and looks really comfy! And the Jessica Louise leggings are fabulous.

I really wish Topshop, Modcloth, and Plasticland would extend their sizes. I keep coming across awesome stuff on their sites and being disappointed that it doesn’t come in my size. :-/

I love those leggings! Totally awesome outfit. Tess Munster is a total doll as well. Being a total cheapskate, I wish Primark (UK cheap store) would do clothes for bigger ladies. I think they currently go to UK 20. Not big enough for me. Boo :(

Those leggings are fantastic! In fact, I’m a big fan of this entire outfit.

I’d love to see Portmans or other stores that do fab office clothes extend their sizes.

Oh yes! Portmans would be great, they have some really nice things at times!

    Thank you! :) xox

Thank you! The leggings have a very Tim Burton feel and thats always a great thing in my opinion!

I’ve heard of Primark, it shits me at times when they go up to a size 20 but not extend it further. I know a lot of shops here stop at a 14 or 16 max, so if they extended to a 20, why not go up to 24 or 26?

    The dress is super comfy!
Oh, I think I would be broke or in debt if topshop extened their sizes! But I agree, I know modcloth have a few plus size things, but I’d love to see a lot more.

    Aww, thank you!

Hahaha, thank you! It’s funny my nephew told me a joke the other day. He told me he wanted to share a joke so go along with the convo, it went

Caleb – “Your smile reminds me of a song”
Me – Thank you! What song?
Caleb – “black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow”
    I admit, I laughed.

I know! It’s like ‘This is a certain level of fat, but you, God no! We don’t cater to people like you!’ There’s been a massive shift in plus size retailers actually ceasing to stock trendier items in larger sizes in the UK very recently. I don’t know why, but it’s effed up and they’re missing out on the fat £££.
