OOTD: Sequined pandas and skater dresses

So, this is more a fake OOTD! When this dress first came up on ASOS, it was love at first sight, so I saved some money and when a coupon code came along, I snapped it up. Only thing is, it’s so fancy I don’t really have anywhere to wear it. I’m a bit of a homebody, but I decided to dress up just to show off the dress. A couple of days after I bought it, they released it in a gorgeous red oxblood colour!

You know you are a bit under the weather when you accidently cut off your head in half your pictures. Whoops! Moving has given me such a brain fog. I paired the dress with ASOS Panda hat, I picked it up on sale, how cute is it!?

I ordered a size 22 and it fits amazing. The sequins are a little scratchy, as are all sequins, but not too bad compared to other things. The dress is lined so it’s no problem with scratching inside, I found it was more just my arms brushing against the outside. The lace inserts are delicate and sometimes stick to the sequins. I really want to try this dress on with one of my petticoats on underneath it!

  • No make up because I couldn’t be bothered :p

    How amazing is the panda hat! I loved it when it was $30 but couldn’t justify it, but when it dropped down to like $7, I was like “BAM! MINE!”. :P

    I love that dress! I have the same problem with sequins being scratchy though (which is why I only wear sequined jackets and such…). Someone really needs to invent non-scratchy sequins. Also, how cute is the panda hat??

    I’m not a huge sequins person, but dressing up in my best gear for no reason? I am totally that person. I’m the same, I don’t go out enough, but I love formal/evening dresses, so I just wear them anyway! :)

    I want that hat so badly, I kept watching it to see it go in the sale, then it did and I was like sequin panda hat? Don’t be ridiculous. Now I want it. :|

    The panda hat is adorable! It’s not bad for sequins seeing as its lined, it’s just where my arms rub, which would be solved with a jacket.
