Outfit – Peplums and Pencil skirts

I wasn’t really able to get a good set of photos for this outfit, but I really wanted to show it off, so you’ll have to live with these 3 pictures.

I fell in love with the print of this whole outfit the moment it went up on ASOS so many months ago. I bought the pants, but they did not look right at all and are in my box of ‘to sell’ items. I then regretted not buying the skirt instead, but it had long since sold out. However, i’m a daily ASOS stalker  and much to me astonishment this skirt popped up in the sale section just over a month ago!  I snapped it up straight away.

The top is also another sale piece, this time from City Chic. While I love a lot of CC stock, I usually can only afford to buy things once they hit the sales rack. I’d been eyeing this one for awhile, I LOVED the colour. I think I’ve fallen in love with the peplum & pencil clothing combo!

    They are a 22. The fabric is amazing and I WISH so hard that I liked them on, but me and pants have such a love/hate relationship.

    Asos is really weird with the items disappearing and reappearing. It happens a lot and it’s not just returns or things that are sold out quickly and then restocked. Sometimes the price even changes. Also they can have something on sale one day and then full price the next. It’s weird and inconvenient, makes stalking a lot harder!

    I have the skirt in a 20 and I am dying to get into it, its a bit too small on me. I have no idea why I bought it in a 20 lol I think i was a little bit excited when I saw it on the site! Its amazing. I tried to pair it with the black version of this top a few nights a go. The colours and belt, everything, suit you perfectly!

    Oh, I know! I get frustrated at times cause I don’t always have the money to buy what I want, and when I do it can often be a) out of stock or b) gone up in price! It’s like the multi coloured sequin peplum top, it keeps popping up when someones returned it, but I never have the money to buy it when it does!

    Oh, I know! This is a size down from what I normally order but it JUST fits, its SUPER tight, but luckily the peplum hides that and I could probably get away with now having the zip done up all the way if I wear it with a peplum.

    Thank you! I didn’t think the colour of the shirt would suit me, I am loving the neon trend but yellow and that makes me look like a zombie, I still wear it though. I think the colour of this top is just a really nice colour though and looks okay with my colouring with the blue hair.

    I’m still experimenting with colour, I find it hard to believe that a few years ago I wore 98% black, my wardrobe is just full of colour now!
