Hello! I’m Natalie a 25 year old woman living in Sydney, Australia. I’m currently living back home with my parents after 4 years in Adelaide. My partner in crime comes in the form of a daushund x mini foxie named Frodo.

I’m a bit of a geek and find myself most at home surrounded by books & gadgets or at a sci fi convention. I love reading and you’ll find some of my book musings over at my book blog Book Babblings. Yes, I’m a fan of twilight and opened Australia’s first & largest Twilight site TwilightAustralia in 2008. Don’t judge me! You’ll most often find me reading novels that involve a supernatural element.

I currently don’t own a TV, but I have a reasonable DVD collection. My favourite movie of all time is Labyrinth. I love period movies but get distracted watching B&W movies. I have a huge passion for Lord of the Rings (It’s what introduced me to the convention word and one of my bestest friends) and Harry Potter.  I tend to be more of a fan of TV shows. My favourites are Gilmore Girls, Queer as Folk, Veronica Mars, Doctor Who & Firefly.

I’m shy when meeting people and find it hard to approach people. I don’t like using the phone and find that i’m quite horrid at keeping friendships because of it. I don’t know how i’d survive without email and sms. I’m passionate about things and quite stubborn in my beliefs.

I’ve been blogging for 10 years now and opened XL as Life in 2009 as a place to share my life with friends and family back home. It’s since progressed to cover my love of fashion and my belief of being plus size positive.
