I first came across Meri by Design at the Curvy Couture Roadshow earlier this year. Meri by Design offer high quality designs in luscious fabrics that you just can’t seem to stop yourself from touching. While they offer a lot of over-sized items, to me, this is draping done right. The capes! Seriously, Meri be Design are the Queens of Capes!!

The first time I remember hearing about Hope & Harvest was a good few years ago when Teer modelled some of their clothing. It wasn’t until around a year ago I found them again and I’ve been paying them attention ever since. I mean, HELLO, how awesome would I look in this hot pink dress!?
Anyway, this week was the release of their new collection ‘Nauticus’. I’d seen a few sneak peaks over the place, but I took the time to look at all the pieces as they came online, and well, I’m in looooove. To be honest, I was a little surprised. I used to love nautical themed clothing many years ago, but grew out of that style. This collection is a wonderful mash up nautical colours (navy & white), with an added feminine palette of soft blues and pinks. While the trademark stripes are featured, so is a glorious bird print!
Zip off lite jacket in white – $139 || Anchor t-shirt – $44.95 || Wrap top in blush pink – $79
Midi wrap dress in marine – $159 || Nauticus Dress – $149 || Wrap top in birds – $79 || Mariner shirt in french navy – $89
I also want to point out that I love the model they chose! Suzanne is gorgeous and I think really helps bring the collection to life. She also makes me want to be a red head!!
Be sure to check out Hope & Harvest’s online store. They also have previous season stock, some heavily reduced in price!

Remember ages ago I used to do a series titled ‘Australian Spotlight’? I’ve decided to bring it back! First up is new label Harlow, designed and made in Melbourne and available in sizes 14-24. You’ve probably seen them a couple of times in my Weekly Wishlist posts, as I’ve had my eye on a couple of their pieces, especially THESE leggings which are exclusive to The Iconic.
Clothing price tends to range between $59.95 to $169.00 and offer items that will become great staple pieces in a wardrobe. I think they look to have a great mix of comfort and style, which can be dressed both up and down. I currently don’t own any items from Harlow, so I can’t comment on quality or fit, but below are some gorgeous bloggers getting their Harlow on. Links below are to the entry on the outfit for more details.

Make sure you check out the Harlow site, as well as their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest accounts! I’m especially in love with some of the sneak peaks on Instagram, THIS shirt MUST be mine, but in the wine colour!
