This can help you ascertain a budget for your purchase and something to start saving toward. If you find that you cannot afford to purchase a car with all the features you want (even with the help of finance), you will be able to adjust your expectations or have an idea of the price so that you can plan and budget accordingly.
If, however, money isn’t a problem, having a dream list will help you rein in your spending and see that you are not seduced into spending more money than you originally planned on features that you will not use.
#2 Select a Reputable Dealer
It is important that you select a reputable dealer to purchase your dream car from. This will save you a lot of hassle as it is likely that they will have already carried out safety checks on the vehicle – as well as its authenticity and identity of the previous owner. This means that it is unlikely you will find yourself in possession of a stolen vehicle or be a victim of fraud.

If you are purchasing from a private person and they are not willing to let you test drive the car, then it is likely there is something seriously wrong with it, or it may be a case that the car is not theirs to sell.
